A facebook user, Sayo Aluko shared his thoughts on some of the things he learnt from the football match. Here are some of the points below:

  • Excited for the win, even though we didn’t deserve it at all. We have 34 players, and only 4 or 5 actually think before doing something with the ball. Others play so dumb its shocking, even though, this is no news.
  • The fact that goalkeeper Sanchez is my man of the match is a pointer to how poorly we played today. Our players practically channeled their inner Badiashiles to play Bournemouth. Had it been that the Cherries got clinical with their numerous chances, which included a sickly-conceded penalty, we would have comfortably lost.
  • Again, I’ll reiterate that Maresca is surely an upgrade on Pochettino, in a way you can’t compare sleep to death; but if he [Maresca] keeps showing a stubborn streak that makes him present a weak selection to start games, he will be sacked faster than a rabbit’s orgasm. Forget whatever boardroom war that’s going on right now, Chelsea FC identity is bigger than even the board, and it doesn’t do or endure BS…if he continues this rubbish, he’ll be gone. No time.
  • I mean, Viega had no job in that midfield today, he looked like fish out of water; we are grateful Badiashile didn’t make pitch, but why is Maresca playing Disasi? Tosin looked too solid while he came on, but we had to endure Foolfana’s foolishness and miscued passes? Why use Jackson that long? Why leave inefficiency on the pitch in a stubborn obsession with your wrong selections??? I want Maresca to succeed, but if does not know that his wrong selections directly shift the burden of expectation on Palmer alone, making the star boy stand the risk of burnout, I don’t know how he will succeed as our coach. Put your best foot forward all the time, a commonsense thing, but I don’t know why someone will just decide to complicate basic stuff.
  • Though late, it was clear we had and always have better quality on the bench. E.g, Why not grow some balls and bench Jackson, that Senegalese kidult should have a permanent seat on the bench, watching Nkunku, Duran, Watkins, Haaland, etc, on how to lead an attack and score. He is currently useless, a premium Olodo. Only God knows the voodoo he used to get a contract extension till 2033. That’s like 9 more years with this thing??? Ha! God! Well, thank God Arsenal is still hot on the cleaning business sha. Gallas, Willian, Jorghino, Havertz, ….. Nicolas Jackson [IJN].
  • 1 assist, 1 man-of-the-match award after just 45 minutes in Chelsea blue. How Manchester United allowed Sancho leave is a mystery no science or maths can solve. Like, How????? Jadon Sancho’s successful take-ons took Borussia Dortmund to the UCL final few months ago. He had the joint-most of those across the UCL with Vinicius Jr. Manchester United let him leave to a direct rival. Tell me something that tops this per self-sabotage….I’ll wait.
  • God bless Christopher Nkunku. That was a spartan goal. A goal against odds. More blue ballons to your air, my dear talented finisher! PS: I don’t have words for referee Anthony Taylor anymore. He is the face of anti-chelsea refereeing in the EPL. Henning Orvebo would be proud.
